Our people

Home-Start involves people who recognise the difficulties of family life, believe in the positive impact our service can have on mitigating these difficulties and in developing better prospects for children and wish to offer, using their particular skills and experiences.

 

Home-Start Hellas consists of 17 members with different skills and experiences:

Three psychologists, one social worker, two paediatricians, two sociologists, one lawyer, one educator, one economist and various other. Many have experience from governmental and non-governmental areas, some as executives or chairs of organisations. One member has been Chair of the international organisation Home-Start Worldwide for six years. There is also a person with  Home-Start volunteer experience; a mother served by Home-Start and a representative of our collaborating organisation “One Child, One World.”

 

The Board of Home-Start Hellas consists of seven members.
